Speech
Even though Shanghai saw a resurgence in COVID-19 cases, the pandemic did not prevent Eagle's Speech from promoting accessible education. Eagle's Speech created two courses: Introduction to World Schools Debating and Currents Events and Public Speaking for English-speaking elementary and middle school students.
Introduction to World Schools Debating
This class focuses on teaching advanced debate techniques in the World
Schools debating style. From nuanced argumentation to team strategy,
this course prepares students to debate on a higher competitive level.
Additionally, this class includes extra professional debate spars with
Clement, Barron, Bo, and Chris outside of regular classes.
Current Events and Public Speaking
This class focuses on introducing students to the machines that run our
world. Spanning from North America to Asia to the Middle East, the
course content informs students about the momentous events of the
21st decade. By teaching both critical content and speech-making
techniques, this course aims to help students speak with greater
confidence and have a renewed interest to stay informed.
